About & disclaimer
This is not medical advice
BumpDays is an informational and personal-tracking tool only. Nothing on this site — including the week-by-week content, symptom guide, kick counter, encouragement messages, baby name generator, or birth plan builder — is medical advice, a medical opinion, a diagnosis, or a substitute for care from a qualified doctor, midwife, obstetrician, or other licensed healthcare provider.
Every pregnancy is different
Development timelines, sizes, and common symptoms shown here are general information based on typical patterns, not a prediction or guarantee about your specific pregnancy or baby. Always talk to your own care provider about what's normal for you.
Always seek professional care
Always seek the advice of your physician, midwife, or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, your pregnancy, or your baby. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on this site.
The kick counter is a tracking tool, not a diagnostic device
It is meant to help you notice your baby's usual movement pattern over time. It cannot detect or rule out any medical concern. If you notice a significant decrease in movement, or have any concern about your baby's movement at any time, contact your care provider or go to an emergency room right away — do not wait, and do not rely on this tool to make that decision.
The birth plan builder is a starting point, not medical guidance
It is meant to help you organize your preferences to discuss with your care team. It does not reflect medical recommendations, is not guaranteed to be honored, and should always be reviewed with your provider, who may need to make different decisions based on your health and your baby's health during labor.
In an emergency
If you are experiencing a medical emergency — including but not limited to heavy bleeding, severe pain, a significant change in your baby's movement, signs of preterm labor, or any symptom that worries you — contact your care provider immediately or call your local emergency number. Do not use this site in place of emergency care.
No account required (for now)
